GB Academy and HuGBC training
Our 7-week course „Sustainability Manager Training – Construction Sector” created as a joint initiative of GB Academy and HuGBC aims to provide practice-oriented and innovative knowledge to professionals working in the construction sector. The course offers valuable knowledge in green building certifications, sustainable financing and ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors to help students make sustainable decisions in construction projects.
In our training, students can gain up-to-date knowledge from leading sustainability experts.
The fee includes the cost of the entire training together with the exam fee . The training cost includes for the duration of the training: access to online course units and related content; personal consultations with instructors; case studies; personal exam.
We provide the following discounts compared to the full price of the training:

What will you learn?
Participants in the training get a comprehensive insight into the world of green building certifications, learn the details and application of the BREEAM and LEED certifications. They get to know the requirements of the EU Taxonomy and the background of green financing. Students understand the importance of achieving zero carbon and climate neutrality in the construction industry, and learn about the role and impact of ESG factors in the sustainability of construction companies and projects.

- you want to learn general sustainability basics (in this case, check the information about our basic education),
- if you are aware of the EU taxonomy, the domestic specificities of green regulations, the operation of LEED and BREEAM certifications, the possibilities of the construction industry’s carbon dioxide emission exemption.

The training consists of a total of 5 study units, which can be learned in the form of online videos, and you must also give an account of the acquired knowledge online in the weekly knowledge test.

Time Schedule
The training takes place over a period of 7 weeks, during which our participants gain in-depth knowledge of the key areas of sustainability in the construction industry. The students acquire the necessary knowledge through short videos, tasks, additional materials and case studies on the training interface, each unit of study ends with a personal or online consultation and a knowledge test.
Certificate
Students who successfully complete the training receive a certificate in accordance with the Adult Education Act, which supports their competences acquired during the sustainability training for the construction industry.
